Everyone knows Philips brand and there is no need to introduce it widely. The Czech branch of this company came up with a request for the development of a special B2B e-shop. It should be an internal system capable of acquiring other business logic in addition to classic order processing. This can be imagined as another ordering process that is completely separate from the former. The requirements were specified and it clearly excluded the standard e-shop solutions. That meant tailor-made system will be needed. Philips has been looking for a reliable supplier who has sufficient experience and a stable team to deliver the project in the short term. In addition, there was a requirement to create a tailor-made complex system that made us an ideal candidate for contract execution.
The project was based on our Dactyl CMS, which contained all the e-shop features and met other requirements as an extended user management with permission managing. The whole e-shop was solved as internal, therefore the front-end part had to be hidden behind a login screen. However, this modification has not been difficult in proprietary software that we have been developing for over 5 years. It was necessary to adjust layouts and UX according to the client's requirements and to implement extended business logic. The entire e-shop development did not take us more than one month including testing and the client has already successfully used it for the purpose for which it was created. In addition to running an e-shop on our servers, we are ready to provide support and, as a matter of priority, to deal with any other requirements with which the client will come.
